Tori Joined the FOX Carolina team on July 31, 2019, moving to Greenville from Syracuse, NY. Her passion for journalism & sports has deep roots in her childhood. Victoria Carmen, believe there’s more to news & sports reporting than just highlights and numbers; it’s about the stories behind the people we meet every day and making a difference in our community. There were even times she’d be on the sidelines trying to help him, coach! That never turned out well, but she did get to experience some state championships along the way. These experiences are just a small part of what drove me to pursue a career in broadcasting, and they continue to push her forward every day. After all the preparation, Carmen was ready for her first on-air job. The one thing about this industry, you never know where you’re going to start. But one thing is for sure; it’s going to be a small market and most likely far from home. She landed in the “Wild West” of Casper, Wyoming. In July 2011 her mom and her packed up her Jeep and embarked on the 18-hour adventure to the Cowboy State. The time she spent in Wyoming has truly been rewarding. She had the opportunity to cover everything, from high school football in five inches of snow, to the “Daddy Of ‘Em All” Cheyenne Frontier Days rodeo. Carmen did it all in Casper; shoot, edit, write, produce, report, and anchor. Throughout my two years in Wyoming, my work was recognized by the Wyoming Association of Broadcasters. She received first place for “Best Sports” in 2013. After a couple of years in Wyoming, it was time to move on to my next adventure. She accepted a Weekend Sports Anchor/Reporter position in Toledo, Ohio with NBC WNWO.

After spending one year in Toledo, Carmen was presented with a wonderful opportunity to be the Weekday Sports Anchor at ABC7 Southwest Florida in Fort Myers. “I couldn’t pass up an opportunity to live in paradise and get more time in studio anchoring two sportscasts every day,” Carmen says. After spending two years in Florida, it was time to move north to New York State for personal reasons. As exciting as this move was for her, it was also scary not knowing what was next in my career. Thankfully, she was blessed with an opportunity to transition from sports to the news at the NBC/CBS/CW affiliate in Syracuse, New York.

Jim began his career at WBTV-TV in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he started as a reporter trainee and progressed to being a weekend anchor. He later joined  WJLA-TV in Washington, D.C. as a weekend anchor before switching to the sports desk. Jim has also worked for WSNV-TV in Miami as a sports director for six years.
