Early Life and Education

Bet-David was born on October 18, 1978, in Tehran, Iran. He is of Armenian (maternal line) and Assyrian (paternal line) descent. On July 15, 1989, he and his family left Iran to get away from the effects of the Islamic Revolution. Settling first in a refugee camp in West Germany for two years, they lateremigrated to the United States, arriving in Glendale, California, on November 28, 1990.

Following his graduation from high school, Bet-David enrolled in the U.S. Army and performed with the 101st Airborne Division for three years. Shortly, he attended Santa Monica College, studying nutrition, but dropped out to follow his career. Thereafter, he attended the Executive Education Program, a series of seminars presented through the Harvard Business School.

In 1980, a war began between Iran and Iraq, inducing Patrick’s family to flee the country previously Patrick had to begin serving for the military and possibly lose his life on the battlefield.
