The Ron and Ron Show

Diaz created the wildly popular radio program, The Ron & Ron Show, with stand-up comedian Ron Bennington. This was at Tampa Bay’s WYNF-FM in 1987.

Most noteworthy, it is known that Ron & Ron partnered with agent Ross Reback to form The Ron & Ron Radio Network and, therefore, owned and syndicate the programming.

Nonetheless, the final WYNF broadcast on March 12, 1993. Citing this, Reback became the CEO as well as the President of the newly formed network. Furthermore, he quickly negotiated a deal to broadcast the show in Miami, FL, Orlando, FL, and Jacksonville, FL.

However, he later announced his departure on-air from The Ron & Ron Show in early 1997. Afterward, the show finally ended on September 29, 1997, after a successful 11-year run. As a result, Diaz launched the brand new The Ron Diaz Show, as the station launched its dial position on 103.5.
