Lisa said, “I felt really good afterward, after talking to him, I think it was cathartic for my aunts especially.”The family ended the call by saying how nice it was to have been able to be reunited right prior to Thanksgiving, and they spoke about potential plans to meet up in the year 2018.

Career

Bell is no foreigner to Central Florid, she has been there since 2007. She reported the big stories that affect the community about her. Lisa became an evening anchor at News 6 in 2014. She began her career in the media industry during an opportunity meeting while still attending the University of Idaho. Bell was delivering an address about the Boys and Girls Club and thereafter, she was approached by the News Director of the CBS affiliate in her hometown of Lewiston, Idaho. The director requested her to become the station’s weather girl.

Ultimately, her love for news took her to Pensacola where she performed as a weekend anchor and reporter. In the panhandle, Lisa covered Hurricane Ivan in 2004 as well as Hurricane Katrina in 2005. She also flew with the Navy’s privileged Blue Angels. Based on her, it was a compelling experience until the pilot successfully compelled her to unconsciousness several times. Since 2007, she has named Central Florida home.

Bell has anchored several life-changing events such as the fate of the space shuttle era, hurricanes, the Pulse Nightclub shooting, and the Casey Anthony trial among others.
