Ben Gibbard is an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist who was born and brought up in Bremerton, Washington, United States of America. He is widely known as the lead vocalist and guitarist of the indie rock band Death Cab for Cutie, with which he released nine studio albums, and as one half of the Postal Service’s electronica act.
