What is your earliest memory?
Patrick Stewart: In my brother Geoffrey’s arms as he pointed to a V2 going overhead.
Which living person do you most admire?
Patrick Stewart: Geoffrey’s widow, Alma.
What was your most embarrassing moment?
Patrick Stewart: At two consecutive performances as Cornwall in King Lear, shouting, “What trumpets that?” a page too soon when Eric Porter as Lear was merely pausing. He never forgave me.
Property aside, what’s the most expensive thing you’ve bought?
Patrick Stewart: A drawing.
What is your most treasured possession?
Patrick Stewart: That drawing.
What would your super power be?
Patrick Stewart: Photographic memory.
What makes you unhappy?
Patrick Stewart: Selfishness.

Patrick Stewart: Me, of course.
What is your most unappealing habit?

Huddersfield Town Football Club.
Which living person do you most despise, and why?

What is the worst job you’ve done?
Wild Geese 2.

Gregory Peck not mentioning me when he won best supporting actor at the Golden Globes for Father Mapple in Moby-Dick. I played Ahab.

The first performance of Hamlet.
When did you last cry, and why?
Last week, watching The King’s Speech. It was perfect.

Rollin’, by Randy Newman.

For being funny, but I don’t think that will happen.

Put yourself in the other person’s shoes.

At the top of that ski run.
