Rick Mahorn is an American retired National Basketball Association (NBA) player who played power forward and center for the Washington Bullets, Detroit Pistons, Philadelphia 76ers, and the New Jersey Nets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Following his retirement, he worked as an assistant coach under Pistons teammate and head coach Bill Laimbeer with the Detroit Shock of the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA).
