Raffy Tima is a Filipino journalist, producer, and presenter for GMA Network and its affiliate, GMA News TV. He was one of the GMA main reporters back in 2000-2004 series of Kidnappings by the Abu Abu Sayyaf Group, an Islamic extremist group in southern Mindanao.
The all-out war waged by the Armed Forces of the Philippines against the Islamic separatist Moro Islamic Liberation Front in central Mindanao. He has also covered the War in Afghanistan in 2001 and Iraq in 2004.

GMA reporter Raffy Tima expresses support for ABS-CBN
– Raffy Time took to Facebook to show his support to ABS-CBN amidst the controversial issue about the alleged shutting down of the network.
– He also expressed his high respect to his colleagues in the Kapamilya network – The network is celebrating its 65th anniversary in June 2019.
Raffy Time took to Facebook to greet his Kapamilya friends on its 65th anniversary this June 2019. Despite the so-called “network wars,” the GMA reporter expressed support towards the TV network. According to him, though they see the Kapamilyas as competition, they are one when they are out in the field. He also wished the station more years to serve the Filipinos.
ABS-CBN stars recently called out singer and Assistant Vice President for Entertainment ng Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) Jimmy Bondoc for his post about a giant network which might shut down. “I am so excited to see the biggest tv network close down. I AM EAGERLY AWAITING YOUR DEMISE,” part of Bondoc’s post reads.
This prompted some stars to react including Angel Locsin. Sunshine Cruz, Angeline Quinto, Deo Edrinal, and some other stars also stood reacted.
