He was cast as A.C. Mallet in the American radio and television soap opera Guiding Light. A.C. Mallet was brought to Springfield in 1990 to fight crime, escaping the mafia in New York, and was immediately ensnared in the plots of Phillip Spaulding and Roger Thorpe. He soon became interested in a friendship with Harley Davidson Cooper riddled with fear and anxiety, characteristics that seem to plague all of his relationships.
Years later, when she found herself in the jail for which he was the warden, the pair would get reunited. Sharing that time together again brought them to a close and would cost him his job.
After nearly dying in an explosion at Towers, he moved in with Harley but their relationship was strained even after they had engaged.
