Meteorologist Ryan Breton Joins NH1 News
Meteorologist Ryan Breton has joined NH1 News, which airs on WBIN 50 and on Binnie Media radio stations across the state, as a fill-in meteorologist. Ryan says he’ll be “filling in for Meteorologist Joe Joyce – NH1 News on Friday’s 5, 6, and 10 p.m. news” and that he is “excited to work on a team led by Joe, as I’ve known him for years through my interest in weather.” He’ll also fill-in on other newscasts when needed and during severe weather coverage.
During college, Ryan was a meteorologist at WPSU, Penn State’s student-run television station. In addition, he spent time as a winter weather hazard forecaster for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation in 2016. He also served as the president of Penn State’s Campus Weather Service for one year in 2015 and was the head of communications in 2014.
