Since childhood, Mckeen has always been into acting, fashion, and makeup following her passion she made it her profession. In the year 2010, she began a vlogging channel but thereafter in 2012 she established her own YouTube channel and started uploading different videos, which literally got tremendous views.
Inspired by the lyrics of a Bruno Mars song, McKeen first set her channel name ‘Lookyheregirl’. She thereafter changed it to her own name. On December 30, 2012, McKeen uploaded her debut video named ‘WHAT I GOT FOR CHRISTMAS 2012! (late)’.
