Rise To Fame

At the age of 35, Morris began playing with the Minor League Double-A Orlando Rays, though following a few appearances he proceeded to a spot with the Triple-A Durham Bulls.

All the credits went to congealed pitching achievements with several pitchers including Durham, Tampa Bay. They granted him an opportunity to pitch with the big club. He made his debut against Royce Clayton of the Texas Rangers on 18th September 1999.

He stroked out Clayton out upon four pitches. Furthermore, he aimed to pitch the majors where he appeared four more times within the same year.  Morris progressed and made another 16 major league appearances in 2000.

Due to his aggressive playing, the problems with his arms began to come over. He made his final appearance at Yankee Stadium on 9th May 2000.

He later joined a tie game at the beginning of the 10th shot and was issued with a game-ending RBI walk to Paul O’Neill, succeeding his release. At the end of the game, he managed not to be the losing pitcher. He recorded either wins or losses at his major league appearances.
