Mookie Wilson is an American one-time Major League Baseball outfielder and coach who played for the New York Mets and Toronto Blue Jays over 12 major league seasons. He is possibly sufficiently recognized as the Met who struck the ground ball that moved through Bill Buckner’s legs in the bottom of the 10th inning of game six of the 1986 World Series.
