Sidney Crosby is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who was born and brought up in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. He is the captain of the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League (NHL). Crosby was selected first overall by the Penguins in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
