After graduating from the University of Kansas, Knight left Kansas for Tulsa to join the Oklahoma weather team first as an intern in 2012. While there, she has helped start Six in the Morning Weekend and is now the weekday meteorologist at 4 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Her dream became a weather forecaster started when she was a little girl. She was brought up next door to Green Country in southeast Kansas, Stacia soon became intimate with the always-changing Oklahoma weather.

She would run back and forth between the TV and the front doorstep when storms would roll into her hometown of Independence, updating her family, watching the meteorologist’s radar, and keeping an eye on the sky.
