Weston was born on December 26, 1986, in Lone Tree, Colorado, United States. dreamt of becoming a reporter since she was young, but she wisely desired to become one of the best dancers in the future. Therefore, she was taken to a dancing school when she was just 3 years old, yet it was not until she reached eleven years old that she started practicing other types of dance moves such as jazz, tap, and sometimes hip-hop, and her repertoire.

Regarding her education, After finishing high school at Highland Ranch High School in CO, Weston enrolled at Colorado State University, where she majored in Communications for two years. Later, she joined Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles where she graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations.

In 2012, Weston started to move into television production, entering CBS Sports, and in 2013 she became a reporter for the Los Angeles D-Fenders which is currently known as the South Bay Lakers on the Time Warner Cable Sports Network. Soon afterward, Weston was promoted to covering L.A. Dodgers games. In October 2016, she repositioned to Tucson, Arizona to work as an anchor for the ABC affiliate network KGUN.
