That dream came true in 1997 when he joined the Eyewitness News as a general assignment reporter and has worked at the station’s New Jersey and Westchester bureaus. He was part of the station’s Peabody Award-winning coverage of the events of 9/11 and led the station’s coverage of the school shooting in Newtown, Connecticut. He has covered news and stories throughout the tri-state area. In addition to covering stories throughout the tri-state area, Marcus has filed reports from Cuba, Puerto Rico, and Mexico.
