Roger Goodell is an American businessman and sports executive who was born and brought up in Jamestown, New York, United States of America. He is currently working as the chief executive and commissioner of the National Football League (NFL) since August 8, 2006, after taking over from the retired commissioner Paul Tagliabue. He started his job officially on September 1, 2006, before the beginning of the 2006 NFL season. He is known as the most powerful man in sports by the commentators.
