Chris was first introduced to ‘spinning records’ when he saw “Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince” perform live, and he fell in love with it immediately. He bought his first table after getting a job at a fast food joint, and his Dad bought him a matching counterpart.

Before joining Incubus, his financial situation was so bad that had been forced to go without electricity in his apartment because he could not afford the bill. But that all changed in 1998 when Kilmore went from semi-anonymity to performing in front of thousands of people practically overnight.

All because he got the chance to try out for Incubus who had recently parted ways with their original DJ. He had one audition with the band, who was instantly impressed with him and was immediately taken aboard. In 2012, Sang established a terrestrial radio show called “Zach and The Gang” with WYD Media and Westwood One alongside Heather “Heff” Connor, Dan Zolot, and Shelley Rome. It rebranded as the “Zach Show” in March 2016, but Shelley Rome rejected the show for Z100 and was superseded by Jill Gutowitz. The show was heard live every night on over 70 stations in The United States and 13 in Canada, and for its first years was founded in The CBS Broadcast Center before proceeding to the Westwood One studios in Los Angeles.

The show, which concentrated its audience towards 12-34-year-olds, circulated weekdays from 7 pm-midnight, and a 4-hour weekend version of the show featuring a collection of pieces circulated in the past week was available at one point.
