Arrest

Trevi, Sergio Andrade Sanchez, and Portillo were charged in 2000 in Rio de Janeiro, where they had fled to avoid prosecution; for allegedly alluring young girls into a cult-like pornographic ring where they were kidnapped, raped, and corrupted.

Trevi was cleared of the charges in 2004 due to lack of proof after spending four years and eight months in prison in Mexico Brazil. Trevi sued her one-time manager Sergio Andrade Sanchez, for sexual abuse in December 2023.
