Davis started her television news profession as an intern at KPRC2 News. She went on to serve as an anchor and reporter in Beaumont, Asheville, North Carolina, and San Antonio before coming back home to KPRC2 in May 2005. Some of her popular stories that she ever covered are: At Beaumont, she reported on racial discrimination at a small town swim club.
