Brandi Williams is an American singer who was born in Detroit, Michigan, the United States as Brandi Danielle Williams. She was a part of the trio-girl-group ‘Blaque’—also known as ‘Blaque Ivory’ outside the United States—along with Shamari Fears as well as late Natina Reed.

They rose to fame with their self-titled debut album that contained hit tracks like ‘808’, ‘Bring It All to Me’, and ‘I Do’. They have toured with boy-band ‘N Sync and TLC’s FanMail Tour in the year 1999. The group starred as cheerleaders in the year 2000 film ‘Bring It On.

Blaque fell apart in the latter half of the 2000s as well as an attempt to regroup in the year 2012 was foiled by the untimely death of Natina Reed. In late 2011, Williams was the only member of the band to release a solo single, her slow jam ‘Love It.

Williams founded a production company known as Tune Towne Productions, while also making solo recordings in preparation for her debut album. Williams had an uncredited vocal role on the rapper Nelly’s single Grillz in November 2005, which also featured Paul Wall, Ali & Gipp, but did appear in the music video.

She met Shamari at one talent show who was in the group Intrigue. The two clicked and remained friends, keeping in touch with each other. But it wasn’t till another talent show that Shamari asked her to join her and Natina to form a new group. Brandi joined and Blaque, and they were tight ever since.
