She was first employed at the station as a morning journalist before she was elevated to the Noon and 5 p.m. anchor. She was thereafter promoted to the station’s morning news. After patiently operating in the position she was also re-assigned as the prime-time anchor.
However, she joined NY1 in 2015 and still operates at the station as an anchor and reporter. Previously before joining NY1 Angi worked as an anchor at an NBC affiliate based in Toledo, Ohio. Throughout her career as a journalist, Angi has been granted awards including the AP-Ohio award for her outstanding live coverage. While still working in Charlotte, Angi was appointed to report for several stations at the Democratic National Convention which occurred in 2012.
