Bayless was born on December 4, 1951, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States. He majored in English and history from Vanderbilt University and graduated cum laude in 1974. He was also the sports editor of The Hustler, the university’s student newspaper, and spent the summer of 1969 interning under sports editor Frank Boggs at The Daily Oklahoman. Bayless was raised in Oklahoma City.

Skip Bayless Undisputed

Bayless is a co-host of the American, sports talk show Skip and Shannon: Undisputed alongside Shannon Sharp on Fox Sports 1. The show premiered on 6th September 2016. The show is a daily two-and-a-half hour sports debate show where Skip and Shannon give their unfiltered, incisive, passionate opinions on the biggest sports topics of the day.
