Gordon began his career in media in 1995 as a feature reporter on The Ticket, a TV show on KDFI (Channel 27). In 1996, he joined KDFW (Channel 4) as a feature reporter and writer for “Call It Like It Is – The Deion Sanders Show”.

In 1997 he became a correspondent for Texas Rangers broadcasts on Fox Sports Southwest and KXTX (Channel 39). In the same year, he began writing Buzz Column with Lisa Smith for Fort Worth Star-Telegram. From 1999 to 2004 he was a contributing writer for the Dallas Observer.

In April 1998, he joined KTVT (Channel 11) as a Correspondent for Positively Texas, a position he held until September 2000. In 2000, he joined ‘The Ticket TV Show’ on KSTR.

From October 2001 to March 2003 he was a feature reporter on The Mark Cuban Show on KTVT (Channel 11) and KTXA (Channel 21). From 2005 to 2011 he was a humor columnist, Quick DFW, a weekly newspaper from the publishers of ‘The Dallas Morning News.

In February 2007, he joined WFAA (Channel 8, Dallas, Texas) as the host and executive producer for WFAA’s presents ‘The Gordon Keith Show’. Since 2012, he has been a columnist for the ‘Dallas Morning News.
